Silken Kaleidoscope Workshop

These are pictures taken at our 3-day workshop with Karen Selk from Treenway Silks in October 2005. Karen is an accomplished teacher, writer, weaver and businesswoman who travels the world gathering and imparting knowledge on the many wonderful dimensions of silk. The workshop was a combination of lectures; hands-on weaving of several silk samples using different weights, combinations of fibers and weave structures; a group design wrapping project; and individual weaving design project.
